There was a white one for sale when I was buying the Jolly Rancher. Yeah, it was more expensive, would have worse gas mileage, be more expensive to repair, be less comfortable, be less green, and probably be a worse car to learn manual on, I still think maybe I should’ve bought one.

You just gotta mod until your happy....
(this is a terrible idea, trust me)

I still don’t think they’re good looking cars. I could never own one knowing I’d have to walk outside and see it every day. Maybe if it was a ludicrously fast track car, I could look past it. But that’d be the car I go to work and the grocery store in and that just isn’t the car for me.

As someone who occasionally questions if I can ever be happy, unlikely. So I’ll try to enjoy what I have for now.
I’ll admit, I smile like an idiot when I see my stupid car.

I think they’re a great balance of silly hoodscoops and bland economy car.
I’ve been looking at FoRSs whenever I see one in a parking lot. Kind of want, but I’m unlikely to get one.

White cars make for good base for lots of stripes.

I passed one in Fort Langley today. We both loved each others cars

Thank goodness those are in a different country.

Green >>> White
Also, the first time I ever drove manual was on my friend’s 2015/16 WRX. It was so hard. Every manual I’ve driven since then has been way easier.
I think you made the right call.

I saw my car well across the parking lot today, so you’re right.

AWD doesn’t torque steer. Torque steer is fun and therefore good. Therefore, FiST > VapeTank.

But all wheel drifts in the snow when it’s winter for six months straight here.

I enjoy the enthusiast thumbs up. Gave one to a JDM Forester the other day, he gave one back.

Hellcat pulls up in the middle of winter. CB be like ;

Hellcat plus studded tires plus ice lake equals stupid fun.

Regrets build character.
That's what I tell myself to pacify the crushing weight of all my regrets.

Not everything is a regret. But the expensive regrets you spend years living with... well, I don’t know if they build character. I do know that it pisses off the house spouse sometimes.

Could be worse — imagine if was a house instead of a car!

Oh gods, don’t even let me start thinking about that future.

You can all wheel drift FWD. You just can’t power out of it.

Hah, too late. It’s on your brains!
Back to the car thing and keeping it more light-hearted, I have endless daydreams of, “What ifs?” Did you know I still can’t stomach the fact that I spent 7 grand on a car? And then to further compound my internal conflictions, in my next breath I will lament that I didn't buy that 1-owner T100.

I still regret not buying that Saab 9-3 when I had no money. Or that Legacy GT when I had no money. Et cetera et cetera.
So I feel you. Eventually we’ll have a “people who spend more time stressing on hypothetical/actual car purchases than is healthy” club meeting. I’ll bring sandwiches.

You and me both. The only think I use to convince myself I made the right decision is they’re all $ 30k for an almost 10 year old Subaru .

Is it better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all?

thats a hard one to answer. On one hand, I got to enjoy it for the time i did. on the other hand I know what i’m missing and DAMN DO I MISS IT.
